With 13 years’ experience partnering with retail brands, I have a unique blend of expertise in product development and brand marketing. I'm trained to identify macro and micro trends, translate trends into products, and communicate intuitive and brand-consistent messages across Omani-channel platforms. My ability to balance the creative process, while focusing on strategic goals, has shaped me into an excellent leader, problem solver, and brand partner.
Self-starter with an intense entrepreneurial spirit. I know that asking questions and challenging the status quo fosters innovation. I move through the day with the idea that remaining calm, flexible, and organized, contributes to being a highly-functional founder and partner.
Reading in my favorite coffee shop, partaking in a Yoga or Crossfit class, planning my next travel adventure, or catching up on a gazillion podcasts. Some of favorites include: Well Made, The Pitch, Criminal, DesignBetter.Co, 99% Invisible, Reveal, More Perfect, The Model Health Show...just to name a few.
In 2005, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in textiles & apparel design. From there I went on to the Fashion Institute of Technology to further craft my skills. In 2005 I entered the retail industry working with amazing companies such as Seventeen Magazine, Liz Claiborne, The Gap, and David's Bridal.
After eight years managing the complete life cycle of products, conducting market research, and finishing my master's degree in Textiles & Technology Management at NC State, I decided to merge my product development background with brand marketing.
